ROSE COLORED GLASSES | BOSTON BUCKET LIST
Rose colored glasses?
You’re probs wondering ‘what’s going on here?’
And to that, I respond with - FUN.
When I think of rose colored glasses, or at least seeing life through rose colored glasses, I think of how fun things may seem. How my perspective can shift from whatever I was thinking into something definitely more positive and uplifting. And while I reminded my mum that I have lived in Boston for almost three years (!!!) now, I am by no means IN LOVE with the place. But I can say my personal opinion of the place has shifted… for the better. And I would like to continue that positive mindset, and maybe even find a few reasons to miss this place when I leave. And my solution to that is to formulate this whole ‘Rose Colored Glasses’ series, where I will be posting about my Boston Bucket List for 2019; the adventures I will have, my favorite sites and places to visit (+ who am I kidding - eat too!) so that I have things to look forward to for the next oh eight months or so while I finish up my time in this city. This will help me be present with the present instead of keep looking towards the future, which I am most def guilty.
I have come up with a v rough version of my bucket list, which I plan on posting more in-the-moment on my personal instagram account, and then maybe do round-ups at the end of the month on the blog, with eventually doing a whole review at the time of my move.
Some basics of the list include trips, restaurants, moments, and goals I have while living in Boston.
To keep it a surprise - I am not gonna post the list in its entirety just yet - but keep ya eye(s) out for what I am looking forward to doing / what some of my favorite things are to do in Boston!
